Why I built Lumina

I got tired of juggling five browser extensions just to audit a single page. One for meta tags, one for schema, one for links, another for PageSpeed, and none of them talked to each other. Every SEO audit started with 10 minutes of tab switching before I could do any actual work.

So I built Lumina for myself. One extension that handles on-page checks, schema validation, crawler access, keyword research, GSC data, GA4 insights, and AI-powered analysis. It grew from a personal tool into something other SEO pros started using too.

It's free because I think the tools that matter most shouldn't cost $99/month. You bring your own API keys, your data stays in your browser, and there's no middleman taking a cut.

What I do

By day, I'm the Web Development Lead at bazuba, a bathroom renovation company with 20+ franchise locations in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland. I run the website, SEO, GEO, UX, Google Ads, and the entire tracking setup. It's the kind of role where you touch everything from JavaScript to conversion funnels.

Before bazuba, I worked as a GEO and SEO consultant at Otago Online Consulting, a Google Premier Partner in Austria. That's where I got deep into AI search optimization and presented on AI Overviews and AI Mode at the Otago Summit.

Outside of tech, I'm a Gemeinderat (municipal councillor) in Mödling, Austria. Finance committee, legal matters, local governance. It's a different kind of problem-solving, but I like the variety.

• cogvis — Austrian computer-vision B2B (fall-detection sensors for elderly care). The kind of technical niche where most SEO playbooks break: a few hundred monthly searches, a handful of buyers in the country, every keyword wrong until you find the right one.

bazuba is the day job now — same skills, narrower domain, full ownership of the site.
