How this People Also Ask tool works

This people also ask tool goes deeper than the SERP shows: Google surfaces 3–4 PAA questions, but the real tree is much bigger. This PAA extractor digs 4 levels down via DataForSEO, pulling every question with its answer snippet, source URL, and ranking domain. That's dozens of real user questions that most keyword tools completely miss.

One-click AI clustering groups the questions by search intent, and the GEO Content Brief turns them into a ready-to-write content structure with passage-level outlines, an entity checklist, and FAQ schema (JSON-LD) you can paste straight into your CMS. It covers 63 countries and 39 languages — a free alternative to AlsoAsked and AnswerThePublic, but with AI intent analysis built in.

FAQ

What is the daily limit?+
15 free PAA queries per day per IP address. The AI features (clustering + GEO content brief) share a single 10/day AI quota. Alphabet Expansion has its own 100/day bucket because each click fires ~33 sub-requests. Enter your own DataForSEO and OpenAI API keys in Settings for unlimited access.
What is people_also_ask_click_depth?+
A DataForSEO parameter that simulates clicking PAA questions recursively. At depth 4 (our default), the API expands every visible question up to 4 levels deep: first the initial 3-4 questions, then each reveals more, and so on. This gives you a complete question tree, which would take dozens of manual clicks to reproduce.
Are these real Google PAAs or synthetic?+
100% real. The data comes directly from Google's SERP via DataForSEO's serp/google/organic/live/advanced endpoint. Unlike AnswerThePublic (which uses autocomplete), this tool extracts the actual People Also Ask box Google shows to real users in your selected country and language.
Why do some AI Overview questions have no answer?+
Google generates AI Overviews on-demand per session in the browser. DataForSEO flags these as asynchronous_ai_overview with no pre-rendered text or references. The question itself is still valuable for your content strategy — it tells you what Google considers important enough to surface as an AI Overview prompt.
What's included in the GEO Content Brief?+
(1) H2/H3 structure organized by cluster/topic; (2) 134-167 word passages per question (optimal for AI Overview citation); (3) FAQ Schema (ready-to-paste JSON-LD) with all questions and concise answers; (4) an entity checklist (named concepts to mention for topical depth); (5) citation hooks — specific stats, dates, or data points to include for GEO citability. Downloadable as Markdown (.md) and JSON (.json).
How is this different from AlsoAsked or AnswerThePublic?+
AlsoAsked shows the PAA tree but has no AI clustering, no GEO content brief, and no FAQ schema export. AnswerThePublic uses autocomplete suggestions (not real PAAs). This tool combines the real PAA tree with AI-powered intent clustering and a one-click GEO-ready content brief — all in one workflow.
